
Beyond the Canvas: Baibhav Datta’s 798 Awards Crown Him a Youth Icon
Baibhav Datta, a talented Class 12 student from Hindi Higher Secondary School in Tripura, recently achieved an incredible feat, setting an India Book of Record for the second time. This accomplishment, confirmed on April 23, 2025, recognized his collection of an astonishing 798 award-winning certificates. These awards came from various online and offline, national and international art competitions, as well as other extracurricular activities.
This wasn’t Baibhav’s first time in the record books. He had previously set an India Book of Record on March 27, 2021. This year, however, he truly outdid himself, breaking his own previous record of 498 award-winning certificates from 2021 by a significant margin. His consistent success has cemented his reputation as an incredible artist from Tripura and one of India’s youngest influencers.
So far, Baibhav has earned an impressive 16 national and international records in the field of painting, directly leading to his second India Book of Record. His remarkable ability to consistently win awards showcases his exceptional talent and dedication. Beyond his numerous accolades in art, Baibhav also used his artistic skills to address important social issues.
He created powerful paintings highlighting critical concerns such as “Stop child marriage,” “Say no to drugs,” and “Stop mobile addiction.” These works gained significant recognition in the community. Through his art, Baibhav actively worked to raise awareness among school students, children, and parents about these pressing social challenges. His achievements not only brought him personal recognition but also served as a tool for positive social change.
