BKG PU College Celebrates the Release of “The Economic Growth & Inflation in India” and “Artificial Intelligence: Pioneering India’s Transformation”

Karnataka News Online: The Department of Commerce at BKG PU College in Sandur is excited to announce the release of two significant new books: “The Economic Growth & Inflation in India: Trends & Policies” and “Artificial Intelligence: Pioneering India’s Transformation.” These books were proudly launched on March 8, 2025, by the college’s Management and Principal.

This achievement highlights the hard work and intellectual curiosity of the college’s talented students and staff. Both books feature insightful research and articles that explore important aspects of India’s economic development and the growing role of artificial intelligence. Their dedication to academic exploration has resulted in a valuable contribution to scholarly knowledge, something the college is very proud to acknowledge. To date, a total of five books have been released by the college, with contributions from two faculty members and twenty-three students as article writers.

Professor Dr. Basil Hans and Mr. Nataraj K G from the Commerce Department played a vital role in the creation of these publications by expertly guiding the editing process. Their knowledge and unwavering support were instrumental in bringing these books to completion. Furthermore, Mr. Nataraj K G also contributed his insightful perspective through his article, “How Artificial Intelligence is Quickly Changing India’s Economy,” which is a featured piece in the book titled “Artificial Intelligence: How It’s Transforming India.” His expertise has enriched this significant work.

This release marks a significant milestone for the Department of Commerce and the entire college. The college also extended a wish for a happy Women’s Day on the occasion of the book launch.
