Early Years and Education : Dr Mukku Ugra Narasimha Reddy was born in Timmareddypalli, Hanumanthunipadu Mandal, on February 8th, 1973. He pursued his MBBS at Davanagiri College, cultivating a passion for politics from a young age.
Healthcare Initiatives : Mr Reddy founded the Amaravati Institute of Medical Sciences in Guntur, aimed at enhancing healthcare accessibility. He rganized a first mega medical camp in Kanigiri, showcasing a commitment to serving the community’s health needs.
Entry into Politics : Mr Reddy received a political ticket for Kanigiri with the support of Rahul Gandhi, marking his political debut. After that he was elected as a MLA, dedicated to repaying his debt to his native land and leaving a lasting impact.
Infrastructure Development : Under the guidance of Mr Reddy, the Paletipalli reservoir was completed, addressing a long-standing need since the British era. He also constructed the Alavalapadu bridge, fulfilling the dream of improved connectivity for Kanigiri-Kandukuru commuters.
Support for Farmers : Mr Reddy established a tobacco board in Kanigiri, easing the burden on tobacco farmers and showcasing administrative efficiency. He also played a major role in developing the Kanigiri sheep market, catering to the needs of the Yadava community and fostering economic growth.
Community Welfare Projects : Mr Reddy developed the Urban Colony and Sura Papireddy Nagar, providing essential amenities and housing for the underprivileged. He also implemented a drinking water scheme with fluoride solution, prioritizing the well-being of the aging population.
Education and Healthcare: Mr Reddy established Model Schools, Integrated Scools, and Kasturba Schools across six Mandals, emphasizing education and healthcare as pillars of development. He even conducted eye treatment camps, restoring eyesight to over 22 thousand individuals and earning the trust of the elderly.
