Amritsar News Online : In Punjab, Dr. Sandeep Singh has become an internet sensation. Despite having multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. and four master’s degrees, he now sells vegetables to make ends meet.
Dr. Singh used to teach at Punjabi University for over a decade. However, financial difficulties forced him to quit his job and start selling vegetables. He claims that selling vegetables earns him more money than being a professor.
For 11 years, Dr. Sandeep Singh worked as a contractual professor at Punjabi University. But despite his qualifications, he couldn’t secure a permanent position. This led him to sell vegetables on the streets of Punjab.
Despite his challenging circumstances, Dr. Singh remains determined to pursue his dreams. He continues to teach his child after selling vegetables and is currently studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Sciences.
Dr. Singh’s story has garnered attention on social media, where he is known as “PhD Sabzi Wala”. Despite facing setbacks, he remains optimistic about the future. He hopes to open a coaching center and continue teaching.
His inspiring journey serves as a reminder that determination and perseverance can overcome even the toughest challenges.
