Bahumukham is a Telugu film shot entirely in the US, a rarity in the Southern Film Industry. Previously, films like Jandhayala’s “Padamati Sandyaragam” or Adivi Sesh’s “Karma” have showcased strong connections with US cities. However, the US remains an excellent setting for Telugu cinema. Adding to this list is the latest Telugu film “Bahumukham,” directed by techie-turned-director Harshiv Karthik, which was filmed entirely in Georgia.
“Bahumukham” is a suspense thriller and an inspiring tale of a youngster who strives to achieve his goals against all odds. As a fervent admirer of legendary directors K. Vishwanath and K. Balachander, Harshiv Karthik, the director, actor, and writer of the film, enlisted US technician Luke Fletcher as the Director of Photography.
Sricharan Pakala composed the background score, while Phani Kalyan served as the Music Director. The film was produced by Crystal Mountain Productions, with actress Swarnima Singh and Russian dancer Maria Martinova portraying significant roles.
“Bahumukham” is currently showing at PVR Inox Musarambagh, PVR INOX Galleria Panjagutta, PVR Inox Kukatpally, and many other theaters in Hyderabad.
